on the road again

From Changsha to Shanghai: The final leg (see horse above) of the mad dash to finish the Broad pavilion.

Pictured above: Looking through the in progress construction of the earthquake resistant “Broad Sustainable Building” to my favorite Broad Town statue (Napoleon Bonaparte en route to Waterloo? (I hope not!)) against the backdrop of Broad’s very own Egyptian-styled pyramid (not to be confused with the one under construction in Shanghai (see previous post). Photo taken on the last night of the Chinese Lunar New Year 2010.

AND TOMORROW, SUNDAY APRIL 11TH, I AM OFF TO SHANGHAI TO WITNESS THE LAST FEW STRIDES OF OVER 200 PAVILIONS WRAPPING UP CONSTRUCTION ON THE WORLD’S LARGEST WORLD EXPO EVER!!!
