visibly stunning invisible glass

Brent Young, professor at the Cleveland Institute of Art’s amazingly sinewy borosilicate glass sculptures are so ephemeral it’s hard to imagine such a delicate work being created in the confines of a hot glass studio. Although you can speculate how the cool glass feels under your fingertips, all you want to do is reach out and touch it, test it. Perfect. See my review of his work at the 2011 Faculty Show at the CIA, here.
